So excited to meet you! I’m Cheryl Hansen, a business and life coach. I’m on a mission to help emerging and accomplished leaders and teams define true success and flourish in life and in business.

– I’ve been a business owner since the late 90s and believe deeply in the power of word-of-mouth marketing.
– I love Jesus and use His Word as the guiding principle in my life.
– My years of experience in business and relationships and what that looks like in owning a business. Business problems are usually underlying life problems…I can help with that.
– Family commitment is one of my highest values and I never want to see a business owner sacrifice that precious time.
– One of my favorite things to do is to be your cheerleader! Loving encouragement balanced with accountability and introduction to right tools is the formula for personal development.
Why I Coach
I’ve realized that I’ve always had a God-given determination for change and growth and it lights me up to help others to be ALL that they can be.
Personal development for me came from coaches, mentors and counselors which qualified me to be that cheerleader and encourager for emerging leaders as they grow their businesses.
During some of the most painful and broken times of my life, I thrived from people holding up my arms when I couldn’t. My growth was obvious and took me from a scared and sad employee to one known for inspiring others. Coaching is both my calling and my passion.
I am certified as a referral marketing coach, in professional networking, in behavioral styles through DISC, and in working with teams and business leaders through WHO YOU ARE Leadership Coaching & Consulting.
From the time that I was learning to walk, I had the mantra built inside of me…”I can do it myself!” And in most things, I was successful.
I have learned firsthand that backgrounds and endings don’t limit success and I know that suffering is never wasted. Those pivotal life experiences ignited MORE determination in me and help me to relate to my clients in an even deeper way, helping them with their own mindset.
My coaching began in the classroom
. . . and my genius was in working with kids with learning disabilities, the kids with the most academic problems, most behavior problems and the most stressed out parents. It soon became a business within a school and I grew it from me and 9 students to 6 teachers and 40 kids every year.
I have 26 years of teaching experience in a school setting and also have been in private practice for the past 13 years.
While teaching, I was also a business owner! Running my own side businesses helped me give my boys extra experiences during their most formative years.
Due to the stress of my divorce, I left full time teaching and began to grow as an entrepreneur.
And what made the most sense was being in the direct sales industry. I advanced to mid level and even had a gorgeous red Mustang convertible that my husband still drives. There were 400 women on my team but thankfully, we didn’t all work in the same office.
I loved this world, but found that I was working more hours, spending more time away from my new husband and was exhausted. Time management was a constant issue and was stealing my joy.
God stepped in and created a do-over!
After being single for 3½ years, I met an amazing man who had tragically lost his wife to cancer.
We have made a commitment to have a party every day…whether it’s having ice cream, cheering for our favorite Husker football team or spending a day on the lake. And that’s what I want your business to be for you! A party and a joy- all while making a significant impact on others!
My husband has retired from his 40-year career as an engineer and time flexibility around his retirement is super important to me in our current season of life.
Coaching allows me to invest in emerging leaders and teams and share what I’ve learned along the journey of life. I get the most satisfaction from my clients’ successes!
I love helping leaders define true success and flourish in life and in business.
My highest compliments are that I have encouraged someone in their next steps and that they saw Jesus in me! There’s absolutely nothing better than that.
